Milestone from Munich: Our certified Foam Core

Pickleball is growing rapidly in the DACH region, but equipment continues to be heavily dominated by major US brands. At CHIEF SPORT in Munich, we set out to develop first-class technology locally – and have achieved a real milestone with our pro paddle, the Chief Sport Elite.

Why a Foam Core? A foam core is currently considered the gold standard in professional sports. It offers enormous vibration damping, a noticeably enlarged sweet spot, and the perfect balance of power and control. The big problem: The strict guidelines of the USA Pickleball Association (USAP). Many foam paddles generate too much of a "trampoline effect," fail the deflection test, and therefore do not receive official tournament approval.

Our Solution – and a (presumably) unique USP Our Dual-Foam Core in the Chief Sport Elite has been so precisely balanced that it delivers maximum performance while also bearing the official USAP seal.
