Gold in Men's Doubles: Nils Lehmann and Tim Barro dominate the DUPR 3.0 – 4.0 category

A complete success in pickleball! In the highly competitive Men's Doubles tournament in the DUPR 3.0 to 4.0 category, Nils Lehmann and Tim Barro made a real statement, confidently securing first place. For the duo, this title is a very special milestone in their young careers.

A path marked by pure dominance

Lehmann and Barro made it clear from the start that this team was a force to be reckoned with that day. Although the duo had to drop a single game in the group stage, it was clearly just a small wake-up call. From that moment on, they shifted into a higher gear on the court.

The subsequent elimination round was strongly dominated by the pair. With perfect coordination, unstoppable attacks, and an almost impenetrable defense at the net, they gave their opponents no chance to get into the game. They marched unstoppably into the final, kept their cool in the decisive championship match, and crowned their outstanding performance with a well-deserved tournament victory in pickleball doubles.

First tournament victory outside of Munich

Particularly noteworthy: with this triumph, Nils and Tim celebrate their very first tournament victory in a competition outside their hometown of Munich. They have impressively proven that they can deliver absolute peak performances on foreign soil and under new tournament conditions, and climb to the top of the field.
